CallME! Click to Call explained
Click to Call or also known as Click to Talk is the connection between the world wide web and plain telephony. The web visitor just enters his phone number clicks the connect button and our CallME! Click to Call service connects the phone number of the web visitor to the phone number that is predefined in the CallME! account (also a normal phone number).
How does Click to Call work?
The heart of the CallME! Click to Call system is a server connected on one side to the Internet and on the other side to the world wide public telephone network (PSTN - Public Switched Telephone Network).
The moment the web visitor types in his telephone number and clicks the CallME! button
- The web visitor is asked to select his country, fill in his telephone number in the CallME! web page and he clicks the CallME! button.
- Now the CallME! server builds a call to the telephone number stored in the CallME! system for the CallME! account owner.
- The same time the CallME! server sends an email notification with the details of the CallME! call (the web visitors phone number, location, etc.) to the email address stored in the CallME! system for the CallME! account owner (this notification is optional and can be switched off).
- Upon connection the CallME! server plays an audio message that he is connecting the CallME! account owner to a web visitor.
- Now the CallME! server builds a connection to the phone number entered by the web visitor and connects the two phone calls.
- After the call has been terminated by either party the details of the CallME! (cost duration, etc) call are added to the system and the call cost is subtracted from the prepaid account of the CallME! account owner. This information is available on-line in the CallME! control panel for each account owner.
- A web-link in the notification email allow the CallME! account owner to add a name, email address and comment to the call record stored in the system. Another web-link allow the CallME! account owner to block the visitor from calling again.

Control
All CallME! account owners can set their time-zone, business hours and country list for their CallME! account in the on-line control panel. This way the CallME! account owner decides when he is available for calls and from which country or countries he accepts CallME! calls.
Privacy
The CallME! system does not show the phone number you stored in the system to the web-visitor. The CallME! account owner can for example accept CallME! calls on his mobile phone without publishing his mobile phone number. The CallME! account owner can change the stored phone number in the on-line CallME! control panel any time.
